Bailey

Luttrell

Bailey “Baichecha'' Luttrell is a purple belt under Professor Bryant Pangelinan and the head coach of the Sabre Jiu Jitsu kids program. She started training and competing in Judo in 2015. Eventually her Judo training brought her to Sabre where she began training Jiu Jitsu obsessively in 2017. Bailey has been training 2-3 times a day almost every day for the past four years, attempting to learn everything she can and competing as often as possible.

Despite being an avid competitor, Bailey’s favorite part of Jiu Jitsu is giving back to the sport by coaching the future generation. Her goal is to help create a generation of strong, confident, and respectful young humans who can defend themselves in a variety of situations. Bailey intends to raise the kids program by nurturing a safe, diverse environment that allows every child that comes in the door to see Jiu Jitsu as a life journey worth pursuing. Her philosophy is that we’re not just working to create black belts in Jiu Jitsu, but black belts in life.

Bailey plans to continue competing and coaching for as long as she can. She hopes to follow in the footsteps of her coach and become a multiple time World Champion of the sport. She hopes to travel the world competing and teaching seminars. After eventually earning her black belt and winning many titles, Bailey dreams of opening her own academy to continue giving back to the Jiu Jitsu community and raising a new generation of champions.
